“www.asociatiamoaselor.ro” (hereinafter referred to as the “Website”, “Platform”, “asociatiamoaselor.ro”) is the interface of the Romanian Midwives Association, being developed and operated by it.

TERMS
The Romanian Midwives Association is a non-profit organization that has been working for the benefit of reproductive health in Romania for over 30 years. The organization’s mission is to ensure universal access to high quality maternal and reproductive health care, to empower midwives as autonomous health professionals and to advocate for policies that support women’s rights. Through professional training, policy reform and community initiatives, the association works to create a health care system in which midwives play a central role in providing safe, ethical and evidence-based care for all women.
At the heart of the Romanian Midwives Association’s work is a commitment to high quality, ethical and inclusive care. The association advocates for professional growth, transparency, collaboration and expertise-based medical care. The organization supports its mission to improve maternal and neonatal health outcomes in Romania by advocating for systemic reforms, promoting midwifery education and ensuring universal access to reproductive health services.
The Romanian Midwives Association is headquartered in Bucharest, Bd. Unirii nr. 33, bl. A2, sc. 2, et. 1, ap. 25, Sector 3, tax code CIF 7853722, is registered in the Register of Associations and Foundations with no. 8/1995, bank account opened at Unicredit Bank, IBAN RO40BACX0000002801990000, duly represented by Mateescu Irina- Alexandra, as President.
The objective of the Website www.asociatiamoaselor.ro is to provide the community, especially adolescents, girls, women, young people and families, with the following resources: information, guidance and access to reproductive health medical services, including midwifery services, education, counseling, advice, counseling on family planning, pregnancy, childbirth, breastfeeding, youth-friendly services, humanitarian support and intervention on sexual and reproductive health and gender-based violence in cases of disaster or armed conflict, as well as covering other basic needs of service seekers.
At the same time, persons who wish to support financially (and in some cases also in the form of goods or services absolutely necessary for the work of the organization) the activities of the Romanian Midwives Association in support of its mission may do so by making a donation through the Website www.asociatiamoaselor.ro subject to the present Terms and Conditions.

By simply accessing this Website, you unconditionally agree to the presented terms and conditions of use.
The Romanian Midwives Association reserves the right to modify or supplement the Terms and Conditions of use of this Website at any time. Modifications and/or supplementations will take effect as soon as they are mentioned on this Website.

By the financial contribution offered (or any contribution in goods or services), any Romanian Midwives Association supporter agrees to the following:
Types of Donations
Individuals of at least 18 years of age or legal entities may financially support the activity of the Romanian Midwives Association through the following ways:
By accepting to make a recurring donation, the donor agrees to pay to the Romanian Midwives Association the chosen amount of the donation, periodically, every calendar month.
The amount of the recurring donation can be changed at any time, and the request to stop payments can be filed at any moment by sending an e-mail to [email protected].
The modification of the amount of the donation or the cessation of payments related to a recurring donation is for the future only, without affecting in any way the payments already made and without any obligation for the Romanian Midwives Association to reimburse the amounts already received.
The donor agrees to provide the correct, complete and accurate details for making a payment at the time they choose to make a recurring monthly donation.
Payment for your recurring donation can be made by credit card or debit card.
Your recurring payment will be withdrawn from your account each month, and your recurring donation will continue only until your recurring donation is completed as set forth in the “Returning and Canceling Donations” section.
Administration of Donations
All donations to the Romanian Midwives Association will be made through the “Donate” page on the asociatiamoaselor.ro Website, through third party platforms representing the Romanian Midwives Association or by bank transfer to the Romanian Midwives Association’s accounts.
Donations to the Romanian Midwives Association that will be processed by one of our payment providers will be held by them until they are transferred to the Romanian Midwives Association’s bank account.
Each donation will be identified by a unique payment provider number (ID/transaction code), and, therefore, it is individually refundable and will be processed separately by the Romanian Midwives Association.
From the moment the donation is processed, the Romanian Midwives Association will be the legal beneficiary with full rights to the full amount of the financial contribution. The donor is not entitled to a refund of the contribution in circumstances other than those specified in these Terms and Conditions.
Any donor may receive certain promotional benefits for the promotion of the donation in the Romanian Midwives Association’s campaigns.
Return and Cancellation of Donations
The Romanian Midwives Association reserves the right to return any donation whenever it deems necessary, including when it believes that acceptance of the financial contribution would conflict with the Romanian Midwives Association’s mission, values or objectives, or when the source of the contribution or the donor's intentions could harm the Romanian Midwives Association’s independence or reputation.
The Romanian Midwives Association reserves the right to make all necessary checks to determine that such a request is legitimate, including requesting information and documentation from the donor, if necessary. The actual reimbursement of the payment will take place within 14 days from the moment when the Romanian Midwives Association decides to reimburse the donation, to the account from which the payment was made.

In order to ensure transparency of donations, the Romanian Midwives Association reserves the right to:

The copyright for all information on this Website is owned by the Romanian Midwives Association. No material on this Website may be reproduced in whole, in part or modified without the express permission of the Romanian Midwives Association, the owner of this copyright.
